February Giveaway

silk brooch giveaway

Definitely time for another giveaway!

If February is seeming a little dreary, I have this very bright and cheerful handmade silk brooch to giveaway! Also on offer is a voucher for £15 to spend in my shop.

To make the process as simple as possible I’m trying out rafflecopter.com, which automates the whole process…so no more frantically writing out dozens of names to pull out of a hat.

There are a number of different ways you can take part, including ‘liking, tweeting, commenting etc but to enter you must sign in to the widget below. The giveaway is open to both UK and international entrants. It will run until the 28th February and the winner will be notified within 48hrs.

Good Luck!

  1. I do love brooches but I don’t wear them too often in case they damage my clothes, I do love them on a hat or jacket though, or to tie a scarf together. I like cameos and vintage ones. I like looking around antique or junk shops for costume jewellery. I love this brooch, the colours make me think of rainbows and midget gems!

  2. I do indeed wear brooches, in fact I was wearing one of my favourites today….a little green rabbit made by yourself! :)
Thanks for the lovely giveaway Julia!

  3. I wear HEAPS of brooches! I think of them as mini-art-works for your clothes :)
My favourite one is a glass and silver brown trout brooch that was my grandmothers- I think it’s kind of hilarious that a brooch was made of such a humble, homely fish. Thanks for the chance to win :)

  4. I don’t really wear brooches but I have an AWESOME mockingjay pin from the Hunger Games that I wear on the sleeve of my coat. I really love it :)

  5. i wear brooches occasionally, my favourite one is one my gran gave me, its a bird with different colour gem stones

  6. My favourite is in the shape of a swallow – it’s on my coat so I wear it a lot.

  7. I VERY RARELY wear brooches. I think perhaps the tomboy in me sees them as being ‘too girly’ but lately I have been coveting a few. The only one I own and wear on my coat at the mo is the ‘Mothers Union’ badge. I saw it in a vintage shop and loved the idea of a kind of badge that didn’t say Mother or Mum but still somehow declared I was one of the gang, but secretly. Hmmm this isn’t making sense. Anyway, it’s an M and a U intertwined and is ( in my head ) my medal for putting up with the crap bits of parenthood.

  8. I love a brooch, I wear them to brighten up my winter wool cardigan – my favourite is my butterfly brooch with multi coloured swarovski crystals ♥

  9. oooh how gorgeous! Would love love love to win…that brooch would look rather splendid on my new coat! :)

  10. and yes I do indeed wear brooches..they are my new thing! My favourite is a snowy cloud one I made last winter..although I’ve worn it soo much that the once white cloud now looks a tad grey!

  11. I love wearing brooches and try to wear a different one each month….apart from Christmas time when I have so many I could wear one a day!

  12. You know i love brooches! I’m not sure i have a favourite one, I love them all! maybe a set of three yellow flower ones i made

  13. I love brooches – so elegant :) xx
