Autumn Update

mistletoe cat

Well, once again it’s been a very long time since I blogged.  I never mean to leave it so long…it just sort of ‘happens’.  Anyway, time to wake myself and this blog up after our long Summer hibernation!

Sorry, this post will be quite a random mix of information…

The last few weeks have been busy. I’ve got a new stockist  – the Barony Centre in West Kilbride, where a selection of my textile bunnies and cats, purses and brooches are available.

Etsy

Got to make way for new stock! Until the 31st October there’s 25% off selected items over in my Etsy shop. Please have a look at the SALE :-)

New Purses

In the last couple of weeks I’ve been adding a few new purses to my Etsy shop.  I’ve been previewing the new designs over on my facebook page and have been very encouraged with all the feedback from ‘likers’. What a lovely bunch they are!

Newsletter  Prize Draw winner

In my first (and so far, only) newsletter I ran a prize draw to win this puppy I made. The winner who was chosen from the subscribers at random, was Cath Redfern. She is a crafting enthusiast herself and blogs at My Latest Obsession.

Winter Fair

I’m doing a Winter Fair on the 24th November. I don’t drive so getting all my stuff to events can sometimes be tricky! This one however, is going to be nice and easy…it’s in a church hall only two streets away from my house!

Coming soon

I’ve got lots of plans which will keep me busy in the run up to Christmas…I know it’s ages away. I don’t do my Christmas shopping until December but I need to get prepared! People will be thinking about Christmas presents soon so I want fill both my online shops as well as I can. I need to spend some time making new textile creatures to add to the big cartel shop, which is embarrassingly empty.

Lots of Christmassy ideas floating around in my head just now. The latest cat I made (up at the top) is embellished with green felt mistletoe and wears an oversized pom-pom hat. He’s not in my shop yet because I’m thinking of taking more photos of him for a Christmas card…But he should be available by the end of next week.

  1. None of us (bloggers) mean to leave such a long time between posts – it just happens because time goes so fast!

Well done on getting a new stockist!

I like the Christmas cat and I think he’ll make a great card.

  2. You’re so right about time going so fast Lyn! Thank you, glad you like the cat :-)
